“The Queen With The Golden Crown”
Born May 10, 1943, Ms. Dorothy M. Beasley transformed back to an Angel of Light on December 26, 2023.
She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a “real friend” to many.
She is preceded in her homegoing by her father (Robert); mother (Maggie); brother (Robert Jr. ‘Sonny’); sister (Lorraine); brother (Richard); first husband (Paul C. Waller, Sr.); second husband (Richard A. Beasley, Sr.).
She gave birth to four children: Paul C. Waller, Jr. (Saralda), Kim Wilbon (Charles), Diane Waller and Richard A. Beasley, Jr. (Shelly). She was a mother to Anthony Williams and devoted to others.
Dorothy loved to cook, she loved to have conversations. Her conversational skill was such that you wondered if she may have missed her calling, a calling to be an investigator or negotiator. After conversating with her you would either realize you were well informed or you shared something that you may not wanted to.
Her style of living could be taken out of the Bible, Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ”.
Dorothy was a lover of people and a supporter of their hope and dreams. She didn’t just talk about helping you or coming late to the situation; she was always there beside you, dealing with the moments as they unfolded.
She is survived by her children; grandchildren, Kimberlin, Marcus, Maurice, BreAnna, Asia and Faith; her great grandchildren, Kamerin, Kavarie, DeAjah, Inaya, JaCoi, MJ; four brothers; one sister; eight sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
