Obituary for Donald Sr. Ford
Once again our family circle has been broken by the passing of our dear brother, Donald Ford. Donald departed this life for a much better one on Thursday, April 21, 2016, after a lengthy stay at the Laurels of Willow Creek in Chesterfield, Virginia.
 Donald was born in Amelia, Virginia on November 9, 1945, to the late Ossie and Ruth B. Ford. He attended the public schools in Amelia County. At an early age he was baptized and joined the Flower Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death not only by his parents, but also his wife, Myrna Bailey Ford, and two sisters, Anna Smith and Lois Brown.
 Donald and Myrna was married in 1968. To this union, a son Donald Ford, Jr. was born.
 During his lifetime, Donald held many jobs, the last being the Amelia Lumber Yard. He loved fast cars and socializing with his family and friends.
 Donald leaves to cherish his memory: his son Donald Ford, Jr. of Bronx, NY; two brothers, Spencer L. Ford, Sr. (Elvira) of Burkeville, VA and Robert L. Ford, Sr. (Susan) of Powhatan, VA; two sisters, Ruth Lucille Washington (Joe C.) of Powhatan, VA and Hazel Ann Edwards (Reginald) of Highland Springs, VA; many nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Flower Hill Baptist Church, Amelia with interment in the church cemetery.
