Dennis B. Hazelwood, 53 was the son of Frances Davis and Wilbert McFarland. He was born September 10, 1970 in Richmond, VA. He departed this life on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at VCU in Richmond, VA.
He attended school in Nottoway County.
He loved hanging with his dad and son. Dennis would always have his friends over and play music for them. He had one devoted friend, Melind Clark. He would always tell you he love loved you. His family and friends called hm D.Dog. Dennis had one devoted aunt and uncle.
Dennis was preceded in death by his brothers, Mark Hazelwood and Troy Quarles. He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Frances Davis of Blackstone, VA; his father, Wilbert McFarland of Blackstone, VA; one son, Dennis Frisby of Blackstone, VA; two sisters, Terri Hazelwood of Victoria, VA and Sharea McFarland of Ladysmith, VA; one step daughter, Katrina Porter of Blackstone, VA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service, Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 12:00PM at W.E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home, Blackstone. Interment Greenview Cemetery, Blackstone.
