Obituary for Delores E. Patrick
Delores Eleanor Patrick was born August 3, 1942, to the late Nannie Lee
and Granderson Robinson. She transitioned to GOD’s heavenly place of
rest on Saturday, May 22, 2021. We are eternally grateful that the
Almighty GOD ordained her life to be a Blessing to so many during her
journey of Faith with HIM.

Delores was born in Amelia, Virginia becoming one of 22 siblings,
in addition to an honorary brother. At an early age Delores joined
Promise Land Baptist Church where she gave her life to the Lord Jesus
Christ and was baptized.

She attended Russell Grove High School. While in high school she
worked in Robinson’s Grocery, the Family-owned Soul Food Restaurant
and Carry out.

In July 1957, Delores married her childhood sweetheart, Henry
Patrick, Jr. They relocated to Baltimore, Maryland in September 1957.
Their union was blessed with three children Elvis Darnell, Dwayne, and
Vivian Doreen.

Delores was a devoted Daughter, Sister, Wife and Mother who
loved caring for her family. Delores was also a career woman. For
approximately 48 years, she excelled in Administrative, Accounting and
Payroll positions in the private sector.

Delores was and remained a Woman of Faith and Integrity. The
LORD allowed Delores to serve diligently in three vibrant ministries
during her lifetime. The Cornerstone Church of Christ, under the
leadership of Dr. I. Logan Kearse. The Simmons Memorial Baptist Church,
under the leadership of Pastor Duane V. Simmons. The Emmanuel
Church International, under the leadership of Pastor Linwood R. Taylor.
She served faithfully in various capacities within each ministry. Her

feel the warmth of fellowship. The Lord gave her the vision for Manna
