Obituary for Davie E. Jesters
David Edward Banks Jesters (III) was born on November 1, 1990 at MCV Hospital in Richmond, VA.  He lost his earthly battle and entered into eternal and peaceful rest in the early morning hours of July 15, 2011.
David graduated from Nottoway High School in 2009 with high honors.  He loved his family so much.  David offered a helping hand to whoever needed it, you were always greeted with hugs, kisses, a handshake and a big smile on his face.
David loved all animals and  was especially fond of nature.  He was an avid reader, artist, music enthusiast, electronics and technology buff.  He was interested in politics and world events.  He loved science, was interested in the planets and space.  He was really into space travel and  space vehicles technology.  He loved trains, fire engines and equipment, ships, planes and the mysteries of things like the Bermuda Triangle and Black Holes.  He was an authority on everything Titanic.  David wanted to be an astronaut, FBI agent, CIA agent, firefighter, policeman, scientist, and airplane pilot.  He was an inventor of many projects, he should have had patents on them.
During the 2009 Vacation Bible School at Springhill Baptist Church, David joined the church.
Although he had to overcome many obstacles in his life, he persevered and overcame his physical and other ailments to live an exemplary life.  He was a preemie and had to fight to come into the world but that hasn’t stopped him from achieving his goals.
He loved sports of all kinds and played recreational baseball for many years.  He was not afraid to tell anyone the truth.  David loved food as if it were a religion.  He was a great chef and a premier food critic.
David was on a constant quest for knowledge and understanding.  He was a dreamer, an adventurer, an explorer and very inquisitive.  He had various awards and certificates, he was a Special Olympic participant.  David was a well rounded individual, always wanting to try new things, and he loved life to the fullest.
David loved anything medical, he was always checking someone’s blood pressure, their temperature and heartbeat, he loved using his stethoscopes for these purposes.  He was a LPN, PN and a RN according to him, he had written his own medical licenses.  He was also a lawyer and a secret service agent.  He had a great imagination when it came to these things.  He truly thought he was all of these things.
He leaves to love and cherish his memory:  his very loving and truly devoted mother Renauta Delphine Jesters, his father David Banks Jr., a sister Felicia Banks and a nephew Xaviar McClendon; devoted and caring grandmother Anna Jesters; three aunts La’Johnna, NaTasha and Nellylene Jesters; one loving uncle Roland Jesters; great uncle William Taylor; three cousins that were like brothers, Daiouijus, Shamonte’ and Myseeonte’ Jesters; two other wonderful cousins Antonio and Tramaine Jennings; a very adorable cousin Tia; loving and caring cousin Lakeisha Jesters; a very special cousin Sadie Lucas; three cousins that thought a great deal of him, Razonte’, Dayquan and Tariq, they were his playmates and visited him on a daily basis; William Barrett who was a father figure and mentor; a cousin Ravon Pritchett who was also a vigilante and devoted friend; two aunts on his father’s side Sherry Banks and Donna Banks-Tucker; cousins Chantel Banks and Vernetta Jennings; and a host of other relatives and friends.
