CLINTON EUGENE LEE (known as Boo) departed this life on April 13, 2012 at his home, 1023 S. Main St., Blackstone, VA. Son of the late James and Willie Mae Lee, he was born on August 23, 1953 in Blackstone, VA. Clinton was one of nine children.
He received his education in Nottoway County, VA
His quiet and peaceful expressions will be remembered by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory: one daughter, Nickey Grantham, two grandchildren, Maurice and Mathew Grantham, and one great grandchild, Tashing Grantham all of New York; five sisters, Theresa Day of Blackstone, VA, Barbara Coleman of North Carolina, Annie Lee, Elizabeth Vereen of New York and Alice L. Newberry of Washington, DC; one brother, James Lee of New York; two brothers-in-law, Micheal Day and Richard Coleman; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Lee and Geraldine Lee; five aunts; four uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 12:00 noon at W.E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home, Blackstone with interment in the Greenview Cemetery, Blackstone.
