Obituary for Clifton Randolph Jefferson, Sr.
Deacon Clifton Randolph Jefferson, Sr. was born in Amelia County, Virginia on February 17, 1954, to the late Thomas and Ella Jefferson, one of eleven children.

On Wednesday, May 22, 2019 God sent for one of his General’s to come home and be with Him.

Clif attended Amelia County Public Schools and later went on to work at Alleghany Warehouse and then Philip Morris USA. Clifton was saved in 1995 in the Church of Christ Apostolic Faith and was a devoted member of the church. Clif cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren, especially in the summer when he had all of them under his care and exposed them to God’s love. He took advantage of being able to teach them life lessons. Clif had a great love for yard work. When the weather was warm, you could find Clif outside doing yard work and planting flowers. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his grandson.

Clif was a kind, patient, loving and proud husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is best remembered for all the wisdom he imparted to those he met. We must always remember his love for God and His word.

He leaves to cherish his memory, devoted and loving wife of 42 years, Shirley Jefferson, one son, Clifton, Jr. (LaToya), one daughter, Letitia Faulkner (Gregg), grandchildren Jayda, Imani, Jordyn and Jermaine, Jr. sister, Antionette of Chesterfield; brothers, Thomas, Jr. (Sadie), Lorenzo, Alphonso, Maurice (Velma), all of Amelia; Elton of Chesterfield and Gilbert (Laura) of Augusta, GA; sisters-in-law; Martha Johnson, Gladys Wilson (Samuel), Orelane Hayes, Rosa Baker (James), Pontgine Archer, Inez Coleman and Carol Coleman; brothers-in-law, Robert Mitchell, James Johnson (Joann), Alton Coleman (Deneen), Jerome Coleman (Lisa) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Devoted friend, Peyton Tate, Jr.
