Obituary for Clementine Anderson
On Monday, October 22, 2007, the Angels came to call Clementine Anderson to her heavenly home, for they knew that her time here had been greatly served and that it was time for her to go home to her Lord and do her final work in caring for him. She was born March 5, 1932 in North Carolina to Nathanial Thaxton and Kathy Long. She graduated from New Rochelle Nursing school in New York as a licensed nurse. Clementine was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Crewe, Virginia. Clementine married Theodore Harvey Anderson in April of 1950 and three children were born to this union. She devoted her life to caring for people, in nursing and taking care of their well being. She was loved faithfully by the people that she cared for, and will be greatly missed by them all. She will be lovingly remembered by: her dear husband, Theodore Harvey Anderson; two sons, Kermit Anderson and Clifton Anderson; one daughter, Denette Anderson; granddaughter, Lakeasha Deberry; three great grandchildren, Aja Washington, Omar Deberry and Ariell Deberry; a son-in-law, Omar Sherif Deberry; other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. from Michael W. Hawkes Funeral Home Chapel, Amelia with interment in the Little Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Amelia.Michael W. Hawkes Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
