Obituary for Clarence Oscar Clark
Mr. Clarence O. Clark entered into eternal rest early Thursday morning, September 27, 2007 at 3:00 a.m. at Johnston Willis Hospital. Son of the late Lue Ellen and Mary P. Clark, he was born July 11, 1942 in Nottoway County, Virginia. He joined the Jerusalem Baptist Church at an early age. He is survived by his devoted wife, Mildred Clark of Amelia, VA; four sons, James, Edward, Thurman of Amelia, VA and Derwin (Gale) Scott of Crewe, VA; two daughters, Brenda Clark of Amelia, VA and Angela (Curtis) Yates of Blackstone, VA; eleven grandchildren, LeTisha, Stephen, Brentaysha, Jasmine, Kiara, Thurman, Jr., Teona, Shamar, Arshantae, Derwin, Jr., and Keondrae; two great grandchildren, Tishana and Ronnie, Jr.; one brother, Deacon Benjamin (Rosa Lee) Clark; three sisters, Annie Graise, Deacon Hattie (Ernest) Brown and Evangelist Elizabeth (Reverend Norman) Davis; one aunt, Gladys Elder; brothers-in-law, Otis (Louise), Wilbert, and Jack; sisters-in-law, Alice, Clara, Ethel (James), Barbara (John), Mary (Patrick), Rebecca and Thelma; a devoted friend, Annie Lee Worsham; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 30, at 2:30 p.m. from Jerusalem Baptist Church, Blackstone with interment in the church cemetery.W.E.
