Christine S. Wilson was born to the late Lelia A. Hurt and Hunter M. Hurt on November 28, 1950 in Kenbridge, Virginia. Christine gave her life to Christ at the age of 9 and joined Oak Grove Baptist Church. She received her education in Lunenburg County and graduated from Central High School.
On October 23, 1971, Christine was joined in holy matrimony to Robert L. Wilson and moved to Richmond, Virginia. Christine worked at AJD, The Boulders and Chesterfield County Public Schools before retiring in 2013. As a faithful servant of the Lord, Christine became a member of Manassa Hill Baptist Church and later joined Restoration Baptist Church. She sang in the choir and served as a missionary.
Christine loved reading, watching movies and wrestling, playing Candy Crush, checking FaceBook and a good game of Spades. She was always ready for a road trip and enjoyed daily conversations with her sister, Margaret, FaceTiming her grandchildren and spending time with family and friends. She would say she’s rooting for the Dallas Cowboys OR whichever team was winning. Christine was always willing to listen and lend a helping hand when needed. She would often tell jokes saying, “Don’t pay me no mind, I’m just having a lil fun.”
