Chester Lee was born in Blackstone, Virginia to Lewis Ben and Susie Ford on October 6, 1941.
Chester, since childhood attended Cellar Creek Baptist Church, was enrolled and attended the Nottoway County School System until he reached high school where he choose to drop out and attend the Army. After serving his duty, Chester relocated to New York in 1965 and a year later he met his wife Martha and married her in 1967. They have five children, Phyllis, Vicky, Chester Jr., Darren and Lamont.
While living in New York, Chester had odd jobs such as a short order chef, dishwasher, encyclopedia salesman and the job he set his site and career on as a Tractor Trailer Truck Driver for over thirty-five years and then retire. In 2009 when Martha officially retired, Chester and Martha move to Crewe, Virginia. He rejoined Cellar Creek Baptist Church where he attended at times with his wife.
In life Chester enjoyed traveling, cooking special meals, going to the horse track, casino (because his wife made him take her), running and had the pleasure of coaching his track team with much success THE QUEENS HURRICANES. He so loved his granddaughters Shawana and Chyanne; granddaughter-in-law mention Nia; grandson Anthony; great grandsons, Isaiah, Brian and Elijah; daughters-in-law Tiffany and Kaitlin; daughter-in-law mention Melissa; grandson-in-law Kenneth; sisters-in-law Juanita, Eleanor, Ann, Kim and especially his sister Mary and brothers Melvin and Larry; Chester also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
