Obituary for Charles Henry Allen
Charles Henry Allen of Richmond, Virginia, the son of George and Roberta Epes Allen of Crewe, Virginia died after a short illness on 06/28/21 at Chippenham Hospital at the age of 72 years.

Charles attended Hendersonville Elementary School and Luther H. Foster High School.  Charles was drafted into the United States Army in 1969.  He served one tour of duty in Vietnam and was awarded two Purple Hearts and a bronze star. He was honorably discharged in 1971. He ended his military service as a  sergeant.

Charles was baptized at the Richmond Christian Center in Richmond, Virginia.  He was employed at Reynolds Metals for over 30 years before retiring.

Charles is survived by his sister Alberta Allen , one niece Tiffany and two nephews; Scottie and Voll and a host of other relatives.

Viewing Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 12 to 7 PM. Funeral Services Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
