Obituary for Charles H. Lawson
Charles Henry Lawson “Beaver”, our loved one entered into eternal rest on June 30, 2013 at his home in Blackstone, VA. His departure was sudden and peaceful. Charles, son of the late Jimmie and Elizabeth Lawson was born in Lunenburg County on June 22, 1960.
Charles was a member of the Pentecost Church of God In Christ in Blackstone, VA under the Pastorship of Pastor Leroy Coles where he attended church faithfully.
Charles was employed at Tyson Food in Crewe, VA.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Bell Hayes; brother, Robert Lawson; and daughter, Candance Wright.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Alcharver Hayes I (Davidah), two daughters, Alicia Wright and Latoya Wright, all of Blackstone, VA; six brothers, Willie Lawson (Cheryl), Jimmie Lawson (Rosa) of Blackstone, VA, Clarence Lawson, Walter Lawson (Anna), Robert Lawson, all of Baltimore, MD; seven sisters, Mollie Coles (Caliph), Rosa Walker (Frank), Marie Oliver (James), Lucy McFarland (Charles), Gloria Lawson (William), all of Blackstone, VA, Helen Alexander (Richard) of Lawrenceville, VA and Elizabeth Dance (Johnny) of Goldsboro, NC; ten grandchildren, Traveonte Wright, Jahmarion Wright, NaVonye Wright, Tacorion Wright, Tyxzavion Wright, Tarfariemanta Hayes, Kasjahmir Hayes, Caden Bailey, Alcharver Hayes II, all of Blackstone, VA; a devoted niece, Deneitra Whitaker and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends and the Pentecost COGIC Church Family.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Pentecost Church of God In Christ, Blackstone with interment in the Church Cemetery, Victoria.
