Obituary for Charles Bonman
CHARLES BONMAN was born on March 23, 1932 in Alabama to Louvenia and Van Bonman. They relocated to Chicago where he was raised.
While living in Chicago he joined the army and served from 1961 until 1964 when he received an Honorable Discharge.
He moved to New York and after he retired he returned to Blackstone, Virginia.
Charles departed this life on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at his residence in Blackstone, Virginia.
He leaves to mourn: his wife, Lillian; a sister, Ernestine Cook; three nieces, Sylvia, Wanda and Barbara; three step-daughters; a host of step-grandchildren and nephews.
Funeral Services Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at W.E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Blackstone with interment in the Greenview Cemetery, Blackstone.
