Obituary for Brian Lamont Jones
Brian Lamont Jones was born on March 31, 1985 to Andrea Jones and Ronnie Casper. He was the oldest of four brothers and two sisters. A loving and devoted father, son, grandson, brother, stepson, uncle, nephew, bestfriend and friend.
Brian accepted the Lord at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Buckingham, VA in his early twenties. He graduated from Nottoway High School in June 2003.Â
Brian was a loving and caring person who loved life and would do anything for others. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, hanging out with friends and family, working on cars and devoted his time to coaching Pee-Wee Football in Amelia, VA for one year and he also worked at A+ Renovations. Brian greeted all he met with a big hello and his larger than life smile.
Brian passed away on July 4, 2012 with his girlfriend Jasmine Morrison and unborn child.Â
He was preceded in death by Kenneth Jones (grandfather), James Casper (uncle) and Lewis Casper (uncle) of Crewe, VA. He leaves to cherish his memories: his son, Dan'Quariahz Redd of Crewe, VA and daughter, Faith Alexandria Tyler of Richmond, VA; his mother Andrea and stepfather Sam Fowlkes of Crewe, VA; his father, Ronnie and stepmother Beverly Casper of Pamplin, VA; Samuel Mills of Blackstone, VA whom he looked upon as a father figure; his loving and devoted grandmother, Kattie Jones of Crewe, VA who helped raised him and Grandmother Dorothy Watson of Crewe, VA; four brothers, Brandon Jones and Samuel Mills, Jr. of Crewe, VA, Edmond Casper and Ronnie Jr. of Pamplin, VA; two sisters, Ronnia and Ronnesha Casper of Pamplin, VA; three nephews, Samuel, William and DeAndre of Crewe, VA and one niece Hevah of Crewe, VA; and a goddaughter, Niya Donovan; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who loved him dearly and life long friends who was thought of as family to Brian: Steven, tommy and Cherrell Young.
Funeral Services Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Dominion Worship Center, Crewe with interment in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery, Blackstone.
