Obituary for Brenda D. Johnson
On Tuesday December 29, 2020 our lives were changed forever when our beloved, Brenda Denise Johnson was called from labor to reward. Brenda affectionately known as "Ms. Bizzy B, Ms B or Sleepy" was born in Richmond VA on November 7, 1970 to Alvin Johnson Sr. & Mary E. Johnson.
Brenda went to several elementary schools and graduated from Monterey High School in Monterey, California. In the late 90's Brenda returned to Virginia where she started working in the healthcare field, because she loved taking care of people.
She attended Cellar Creek Baptist Church in Blackstone Virginia. Her favorite song was, "His Eye Is On The Sparrow". She had many friends and she would always greet them with that big smile and say, “Hey Darling” which was her favorite saying.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harris & Ruth Johnson, Lewis & Minnie Brown and Mary Tucker-Whippler. She leaves to mourn: her parents, Alvin Johnson Sr. & Mary E. Johnson; two sisters, Maxine Johnson & Lisa Bailey; three brothers, Alvin L Johnson, (her big baby), Milton (flippa) and wife Melinda Robertson, & Ronald (charlie brown) and wife, Christeller Robertson; sister/cousin, Lakisha (Derwin) Spicely; one niece; one nephew; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. She loved them all.
Brenda will be greatly missed by so many, but the family will take comfort in the scripture John 11:25, Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life, the one who believes in me will live, even though they die.

Graveside Services Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Cellar Creek Baptist Church.
