Obituary for Betty L. Trueheart
Gently and peacefully, Betty L. Trueheart entered into her eternal rest on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Johnston Willis Medical Center, Richmond, VA. Daughter of the late Robert and Mattie Montague, she was born on February 23, 1945 in Amelia County, the youngest of eight children. She was raised by her aunt and uncle, Catherine and Milton Monroe.
At an early age, she joined Pilgrim Baptist Church where she was baptized. Betty dearly loved her church and continued to worship there until her death.Â
She married Herbert C. Trueheart and two sons were born to that union, Roger and Dwayne Trueheart.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dwayne Trueheart and a brother John William, but leaves to cherish her memories:Â her husband Herbert C. Trueheart; one son, Roger Trueheart; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; her siblings, Thomas (Mamie), Roosevelt Montague, Effie (Eulas), Bernard, Virgie (James) and Thelma (Claude); four sisters-in-law; eight brothers-in-law; two special friends, Joyce Wilkerson and Frances Bolding; a host of other relatives and friends.
