Obituary for Bessie Mae White
Bessie White departed this life on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Heritage Hall in Blackstone, VA.  Daughter of the late Robert and Lucy White, she was born August 18, 1936 in Nottoway County.

She was baptized and became a member of First Nottoway Baptist Church in Crewe, VA.

Bessie loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends.  She also loved reading the bible, her favorite scripture was Psalm 23.

Bessie was preceded in death by ten siblings, but leaves to cherish her memory one sister Hazel Fowlkes and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services for Bessie M. White will be held Tuesday, June16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at First Nottoway Baptist Church, Crewe with interment in the church cemetery.
