Obituary for Benjamin (Frank) Clark
Benjamin Franklin (Frank) Clark peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 17, 2008 after a brief illness.  He was born on May 8, 1940 to the late Lewellyn and Mary P. Clark.  He received his education in the Nottoway County Public School System.
At an early age, he gave his life to God and became a member of Jersualem Baptist Church in Blackstone, Virginia and attended faithfully until his illness.  He served as a devoted Deacon at Jerusalem for thirty-two years.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers: David, Mckinley, Henry, Wesley, Howard, Cab and Clarence Clark.  His sisters that preceded him in death were Irene Edmonds, Virgie Davis, Ruth Taylor, Trixie Hayes, Rosa Lee Clark and Laura Belle Clark.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 46 years, Rosa Lee Clark; two children, Helen Oliver (Larry) of Virginia Beach, VA and Olivia Friend (Vincent) of Amelia, VA; five grandchildren, Ivan Clark, Larry Oliver, Jr., Shameka Oliver, Shawna Friend and Rashawna Friend; two great grandchildren, Keshawn Oliver and Jayden Clark; three sisters, Annie Graise, Hattie Brown (Ernest) and Elizabeth Davis (Norman); three sisters-in-law, Rebecca Irby (Conrad) of Blackstone, VA, Virginia Dudley of Baltimore, MD, and Yolinda Peace of Baltimore, MD; one brother-in-law, Thomas Peace of Baltimore, MD; and generations of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Services Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Blackstone with interment in the church cemetery.
