He joined Manassa Hill Baptist Church at an early age.
Most of his life was spent in Baltimore, Maryland. While living there he worked and retired as a construction worker.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his mother, his father, and a brother, Arthur Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories: four sisters, Virginia, Pauline (Clarence), Allyne (Allen) and Christophine; four brothers, John (De-Lois), Lee Archer (Louise), Samuel (Gladys) and Robert (Christine); one son, Wilbert Coleman (Carolyn); two grandsons; one great grandson; one uncle, Hugo Worsham; one aunt, Louise Worsham: and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a devoted friend, Sherry Blair.
Funeral Services Saturday, February 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Michael W. Hawkes Funeral Home Chapel, Amelia with interment in the Manassa Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Amelia.
