On December 17, 2022, our beloved Barbara Ann Rollins entered into eternal rest and went home to be with
the Lord. She was born to Early Worsham and the late Ruth Paige-Worsham on July 20, 1970, in Amelia, VA,
where she grew up and attended school. Barbara graduated from Amelia County High School and was a
proud member of the Class of 1988. Barbara accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the
Promise Land Baptist Church. She remained a faithful member until joining St. Paul Baptist Church in
Henrico, VA, in 2019.
After graduation, Barbara attended Brightpoint Community College (formerly named John Tyler Community
College) and earned her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. She worked for several years with
Dalcon Shield before transitioning to West End Orthopedic and later settled into a career with the USDA.
During this time, she met the love of her life, Gregory Rollins, and the two were married on July 19, 1997.
From this union, God blessed them with a precious baby girl, Alexus Michelle Rollins.
God gifted Barbara with the heart to serve, and she never shied away from that call on her life. She was
always ready and willing to contribute in whatever capacity she could at her church, on her job, and in her
community. When circumstances in her life changed, Barbara decided to leave the workforce and focus on
the health and well-being of her family. And although her #1 priority was ensuring Gregory and Alexus were
cared for, she still managed to carve out time to help other family members and friends. She is highly
thought of and respected throughout Central Virginia for selflessly giving of her time and talents, as she
regularly volunteered and partnered with various organizations throughout the state.
Despite any challenges that Barbara faced, she remained a pillar of strength for her family. She took the
lemons that life through her way and made lemonade…literally. In 2021, she stepped out on faith and
started her own business, which she affectionately named Squeezie Peezie Lemonade & Refreshments.
Using her own “secret” recipe, Barbara hand-squeezed lemons and other fresh fruits to create crowdpleasing beverages that soon became the talk of the town and a staple at various events in Virginia. Her
business grew quickly as the word about Squeezie Peezie traveled across state lines, leading her to start
shipping her products to anxious customers. Seeing how much people loved her lemonades gave her so
much joy and motivated her. She proudly proclaimed, “This is fresh squeezed…we don’t do concentrate or
powder mix here!” Squeezie Peezie was not only a blessing to her and her family but also her dream come
true as she became a successful small business owner.
Barbara loved the Lord and trusted Him with her whole heart. Her faith never waivered when times got
rough; she just dug her heels in and praised Him through the storm. To know her was to love her, and to be
loved by her was to experience love in its purest form.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Paige-Worsham; uncle/guardian, Thomas Archer; uncle,
Freddie Paige; and nephew, Roderick Worsham.
