“Let the little children come to me!” Jesus said these words to His disciples long ago. On January 18, 2011, He said them again to Serenity Janay Jones. What comfort those words have given to her mother, Dionnie N. Jones and her father, Jasen L. Jackson. Sharing in her parent’s assurance are Senenity’s grandparents, Brenda L. Jones and Aletha Jackson; her great grandmother, Fannie Jackson; her sister and brother, Jayla and Javion Jackson; her godsister, Breyana Epps and her grandparents, James and Lillian Epps; her great aunts, Inez J. Yates, Barbara J. Wynn, and Barbara M. Parham; great-great aunts, Rozelia Hardy, Lucille Campbell, Ethel Roy and Reverend Addie Holloway; her godmothers, Crystal Epps, LaShonna Jackson, Nekeisha Shelton, and Deitra Wynn-Scott; her godfathers, Chermak Yates and Vincent Wynn; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Cellar Creek Baptist Church, Blackstone with interment in the church cemetery.
