Obituary for "Cupcake"
Mr. Arthur William Wilson Jr., known to many as “Cupcake” of Richmond, VA entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, VA.
Arthur was born October 19, 1955, to the late Curtis Morgan and Arthur Wilson Sr. in Blackstone, VA. Arthur received his educational accomplishments in Fishersville where he obtained numerous trades. He was employed by Taylor Ramsey as a machine operator for years and shared a passion for upholstery where he built, reconstructed, or designed furniture. He owned and operated his own upholstery business where he spent most of his time providing services to his customers. He enjoyed many things, but his hobbies were fishing, watching football, and he loved his music (Drummer Boy).
Arthur was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church in Blackstone, VA and was proceeded in death by both parents (Arthur and Curtis), his brother James Morgan of Richmond, VA, and his sister Alice Morgan Carter of Baltimore, MD.
Arthur leaves to cherish his memories his son Sebastian “Ray” Washington (Peggy) of Fredericksburg, VA; daughters Crystal Washington (Berry) of Fredericksburg, VA, and Kendra Anderson of Chesterfield, VA; grandchildren, Aaron, Ka’Niyah, Khamari, Kenajai, Alyssa, Kyle, Tyler, Antawan, and Tevin; two great grandchildren; two sisters; Sheila Brown (Robert) of Blackstone, VA and Linda Morgan of Baltimore, MD; and devoted life-long friends Jean Anderson (Little Frank) and Peggy Washington, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services Satruday, December 18, 2021 at 3:30 at Hawkes Funeral Home, Blackstone. Interment private.
