Antonio Edmonds was born March 26, 1979 in Petersburg, VA to Emma Edmonds and the late Ronnie Edmonds, Sr. He was called home to his final resting place on May 11, 2024 in South Hill, VA.
At an early age he was baptized at White Rock AME Zion Church in Alberta, VA. Antonio, better known as “Baby Boy” graduated from Brunswick Senior High with the Class of ‘98.
He worked at Star Value throughout high school; he also worked as a welder at Manchester Tank and American Building. He graduated from Southside Virginia Community College in 2006 where he received his CDL and started his truck driving career of 18 years. Three of the most valued companies he worked for were; Monkeys Trucking, Hillcrest, and Screamin Eagle.
With his infectious personality, smile, positivity and good cheer he was a gift from God that drew people to him. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing with his god-kids, riding four wheelers and shooting his guns in the woods. He was a member of the car club CVB CVG Chapter 14 where he held the position of Prospect Manager.
Preceding him in death was his father Ronnie Edmonds, Sr.
He leaves behind his mother, Emma Edmonds of Alberta, VA; his wife Lisa Edmonds of South Hill, VA; four sons, DeAndre Phillips (Chelsea), Dewun Clark, Evan and Ivan Edmonds all of South Hill, VA; two daughters Alexis Phillips (Maurice) of South Hill, VA and Khalilha Wyche (Laricky) of Dolphin, VA; two brothers, Ronnie Edmonds, Jr (Tanequea) and William Edmonds of Alberta VA; three uncles Rubin Farrah, James and Walter Farrah; two aunts Theresa Scott and Anna B Wilson (Bernett); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
