**In Loving Memory of Anthony Lorenzo Jackson**
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anthony Lorenzo Jackson, who peacefully departed on April 9, 2025, at the age of 54. He resided most of his years in Crewe, Virginia, with his parents, Fred and Helen Jackson, who both preceded him in death. He attended Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, graduated from Nottoway High School, and attended Strayer University. A cherished brother, father figure, uncle, and friend, Lorenzo was a beloved member of the Nottoway, Virginia community. He was born on April 18, 1970, in Farmville, Virginia. He eventually moved closer to his job in Blackstone, Virginia, where he worked at Reiss Manufacturing.
Lorenzo is survived by his siblings, Deborah Baldwin, Fred Jackson Jr. (Pamela Jackson), and Bill Jackson (Annette Jackson), as well as his special friends Gena Hooikia and Brenda Reed. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew: Chantay Jackson, Brandon Jackson, Ida Jackson, Krystal Jackson, Daniel Hurt, and Demetrius Anderson, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind his great-nieces and great-nephews, whom he loved dearly, and Vasiliy Volkov (Chip), to whom he was a loving father figure.
Lorenzo was known for his kind heart, his love for Taco Bell and the Dallas Cowboys, his enjoyment of comic-related movies (like Marvel), comic books, wrestling, and music, and his walks with his dog, Vandar. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date; details will be posted soon. Thank you for your understanding. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the W. E. Hawkes and Son Funeral Home in Anthony Lorenzo Jackson's memory.
