Obituary for Anthony L. Tucker
Anthony LaSwan Tucker, 44 of Blackstone, VA entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 26, 2019 at his home. He was born October 31, 1974 in Richmond, VA to Harold and Lena Tucker.
Anthony was known to many as Amp. He attended Nottoway County public school and graduated in 1994. At an early age, he joined Shiloh Baptist Church, Dinwiddie. He attended Fourth Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Crewe until his death.
Anthony was employed by Brickland, Camp Kenbridge and Beaumont Juvenile Correctional Center until his health failed. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and football. His favorite football team was the Washington Redskins.
Anthony was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Tabon Sr., George and Gerlie Tucker; two uncles, Robert L. Branch and Thomas Tabon, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of three years, Audreynette Williams- Tucker of Blackstone; his father, Harold Tucker of Amelia; his mother, Lena Cousins and stepfather, Edward Cousins of Blackstone, VA; grandmother, Annie Mae Tabon of Blackstone, VA; two brothers, Artric Tucker (Menia) and Wardell Cousins (Keosha) of Blackstone, VA; one sister, LaTrece Tucker-Coleman (Daryl, Sr.) of Amelia, VA; mother-in-law, Barbara W. Diggs (Michael); two additional sisters-in-law, Catrice Williams and LaToya Delaney; one uncle, Jerry Tabon (Cassandra); three great aunts, Elizabeth Tucker (James), Rachel Vaughan and Fannie Rather; one niece, Jasmine Coleman; five nephws, Daryl Coleman, Jr., Saveyon and Kavion Cousins, Quandell and Raquan Williams and Kendrick Sadler; a host of cousins and friends, one devoted, Bradley Jackson.
Funeral Services Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church (Dinwiddie). Interment church cemetery.
