Obituary for Annie Mae Yates
On Friday morning March, 14, 2008, Mrs. Annie Mae Yates entered into eternal rest at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Blackstone, VA. She was born May 15, 1927 to the late Frank and Maggie Dagner.
Annie was educated in the Nottoway County public schools. She joined Cellar Creek Baptist Church at an early age.
She worked at Clays Rest Home. Annie love fishing and sewing.
Annie was married to the late Robert Lee Yates and three children were born to that union. They also have one adopted son.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Yates; a son, Eddie D. Yates; and three brothers, John, Robert and Walter Dagner.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories:Â three sons, Thomas (Virgie), Richard (Glenda), and Michael Yates; one brother, Gussie Dagner; one sister, Irene Dagner; sixteen grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from Cellar Creek Baptist Church, Blackstone with interment in the church cemetery.
