Obituary for Annie M. Clarke
An angel, Mrs. Annie Mae Clarke was called home on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Southside Regional Medical Hospital in Petersburg, VA. She was born August 3, 1947 to the late Rebecca Davis and Linwood Jones. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and then later on she found the Deliverance Through Jesus.
Annie Clarke is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clarke and a grand-daughter, Adlean Thorpe.
She is survived by her loving children, Joseph, Annie (Lonnie), Samuel (Swanzetta), Kim Dagner, and Denise Johnson, all of Blackstone, Sandra of Petersburg, Clint (Ruth) of Stoney Creek, VA, two devoted grandsons, James and Anthony Jackson, mother-in-law Elnora Clarke of Blackstone, thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers, one brother-in-law Leroy Clarke, one sister-in-law, Loretta Clarke, one son-in-law Timothy Jefferson, one daughter-in-law, Sherry Jackson, four nephews, eight nieces, five great-nephews, six great-nieces, among them a devoted niece Bernice Johnson , a devoted cousin, Connie Saunders, one goddaughter, Tamara Wilburn, three devoted friends, Sylvester and Carolyn Anderson and Pearl Neal.
Funeral Services Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Deliverance Through Jesus Apostolic Holiness Church, 512 N. Main St., Blackstone with interment in the Greenview Cemetery, Blackstone.
