Obituary for Anne L. Buncamper
Mrs. Anne L. Buncamper, daughter of the late William Henry and Ophelia Maryland was born on November 22, 1911 in Richmond, VA. Anne fell asleep in death on November 14, 2007 at 6:00 a.m. at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Blackstone, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Buncamper, one daughter, Marion and four sisters, Beatrice, Ruth, Lottie, Ethel and her nephew George Jenkins.Anne, at an early age moved with her family to New York and resided there until 1970, at which time she moved to Blackstone, VA.Anne worked many years as Head Cashier at Macy's Department Store in New York.Anne was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1972. She faithfully served Jehovah until her death.She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her great niece, Linda Billy of Brooklyn, NY; her nieces, Christine Peasant of Chicago, IL and Estelle Johnson of Bronx, NY and very close family ties-Marquetta Temple and John Ramsey; and a large spiritual family in the East, Blackstone, VA Congreagation of Jehovah's Witnesses who loved and cared for her.Funeral Services were held Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Blackstone, VA with interment in the Cypress Hill Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
