Obituary for Anna C. Harris
Anna C. Harris was born July 4, 1933, the daughter of the late Elizabeth B. Daniels and Joe Jones passed away January 2, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, VA.
At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Shiloh Baptist Church, where she served faithfully. She attended Luther H. Foster High School and graduated Valedictorian with the class of 1951.
Anna was united in holy matrimony to the late Thomas Rudolph Harris Sr. and this union was blessed with a son and a daughter. Anna loved and recited poetry. She was recently employed with Blackstone Physical Therapy, where she loved and was loved by her patients.
To cherish her memories, she leaves to mourn: a devoted son, Thomas Jr. (Renee); a devoted daughter, Sandra; one brother, Charles Daniels; a devoted niece, Joyce Elaine (Ardell); a devoted nephew, James (Randy) Harris; two granddaughters, Evet (Darryl) and Monet (Stanley); four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Helen Harris; her beloved friends, Ann Jones, Idell Davis, Reverend Evelyn Morgan, Mary Lou Goode and Jessie Maddux; a host of nieces and nephews.
