Obituary for Ann E. Williams
Ann E. Williams, daughter of Mary Alice Epps and James Williams departed this life on Friday, April 30, 2021. She was born March 3, 1948 in Rice, Virginia.

Ann attended Luther H. Foster High School. She was a faithful member of High Rock Baptist Church in Rice, Virginia.

Ann worked at Burkeville Veneer Plant for over twenty years. In later years she worked as a home health aide.

Ann loved being with her children and grandchildren, going to church and playing Bingo. She also loved reading and traveling.

Ann is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Alice Todd; father, James Williams; son, Clarence Branch, III; daughter, Annette L. Williams; and long-time significant other, Raymond Reed, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Mattie Allen (Carlton) and Demetria Williams of Winston-Salem, NC; two granddaughters, Amiriah Wynn and Zuri Williams of Winston-Salem, NC; three grandsons, Mark Bates, Jr. (Jacob), Matthew Bates (Duck) of Chesterfield, VA and Ladarius Williams of Winston-Salem, NC; one great granddaughter, Nesiyah Bates of Chesterfield, VA; one brother, Wilson Todd, Jr. (Earnestine) of Sumter, SC; a very special and devoted sister-in-law, Mary B. Johnson of Upper Marlboro, MD, Roberta Witcher, Irene B. Fowlkes and Virginia Moultrie; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Viewing Friday, May 7, 2021 from 3 to 7 pm. Funeral Services Saturday, May 8, 2021 at
1:00 pm at High Rock Baptist Church, Rice. Interment church cemetery.
