ANGELA BENITA HARDY “Angie” entered into eternal rest on September 26, 2009 at Beth Israel Hospital in New York. She was born on August 27, 1964 to the late Frances Hardy and Dallas Perkins.
Angie joined Little Mount Baptist Church at an early age, and was educated in New York City.
After high school, Angie entered the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. Upon returning to the United States, she worked with special children. Angie enjoyed interacting with people and making people laugh.
Angie leaves to cherish her memories: one brother, Chance (Robin); grandfather, Deacon Baker Fields; two nieces, Shannon and Stephanie; one nephew, Ryan; one adopted daughter, Anita Middleton; one step-sister, Debbie; one step-brother, Bernard; two uncles, Tommy Joe and John of Blackstone, VA; one aunt, Willie Mae of South Carolina; a host of cousins and her roommate, Anita Scott.
Funeral Services Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Hawkes Funeral Home Chapel, Blackstone with interment in the Greenview Cemetery, Blackstone.
