Brother Andre’ El was born January 15, 1971 at MCV Hospital, Richmond, VA. Because of his parents military assignments, Andre’ attended schools in Germany as well as numerous schools stateside. His parents settled here and he was a student at the Amelia Middle School. During his high school career as a Raider, he was an outstanding running back on the football team that was a threat to any defensive team that opposed them. In addition to being a standout on the football team, he was also an outstanding basketball player. The first time the school ever went to state championship was during his tenue on the team. He always love and still loved fishing.
Andre’ had a heart of gold and would bend over backward to help someone in need. He loved to laugh and have a good time, but he had a seriousness about himself as well. Andre’ always stood on his religious convictions and proudly proclaimed his nationality as Moorish American, where he is a member of the Moorish Science Temple of America in Richmond, VA.
Andre’ is preceded in death by his beloved brother, Terrence “Tee” whom he loved and never stopped talking about even until his departure. His uncle, Joseph Love, aunt, Sonya Robinson and great aunt, Deloris Love.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, one son, Andre’ Jaden El; life-long partner, the love of his life, mother of his son, Beverly Hicks; mother and father, Terrence and Dorothy El; one sister, Courtney El; grandparents, Sim and Julia Robinson; one great uncle, Joe Lewis Love; six aunts; two uncles, five nieces and nephews and a host of cousins.
Viewing will be Friday, December 10, 2021 at the funeral home from 1 to 7PM.
Services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Amelia Veterans Centerl 16440 Five Forks Rd., Amelia.
