In Loving Memory Inez F. Tucker 8/28/1913 - 1/28/2010

INEZ FITZGERALD TUCKER slipped away in death on January 28, 2010 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Blackstone, Virginia.

She was born in Nottoway County to the late Thomas and Bertha Fitzgerald Eppes. She was baptized at an early age under the pastoralship of Reverend L. A. Wilson and became a member of Mt. Gazerine Baptist Church. She attended the church while she lived in this area.

She was married to the late Oscar M. Tucker and to this union no children were born.

She resided in Norfolk, Virginia for a many, many years before returning to Blackstone, Virginia. Although, living away she never forgot her church financially. She visited the church whenever in this area.

Sister Tucker was a great seamstress and loved to cook, whenever family or friends visited.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving sister, Lacy Cooke; one devoted niece, Connie J. Scott (Lee); a host of more nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews and cousins and friends.

Funeral Services Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Gazerine Baptist Church, Blackstone with interment in the church cemetery.
