Obituary for Veronica 'Lady Bird' Gee
Veronica Thomasina Gee, affectionately called “Lady Bird” departed her life on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on November 1, 1964 to Mabel and Thomas Gee and was their only child.

Lady Bird was the star in her mom’s eye from the beginning to the end. She never needed or wanted for anything that her mom did not try to provide for her. They went everywhere together. So Much Love!!

Lady Bird graduated from Nottoway High School June 1983

Lady Bird was preceded in death by her father Thomas Gee, but leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted, caring and loving mom, Mabel Gee; the Gee and Dagner family; cousins and friends that will always remember “Lady Bird.”

Funeral Services Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at W.E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Blackstone. Interment Mt. Gazerine Baptist Church Cemetery, Blackstone.
