Obituary for Mary P. Anderson
Mary Lou P. Anderson, daughter of the late Robert and Annie Perkins was born April 21, 1926 in Buckingham County, VA. She departed peacefully her life on Monday August 28, 2017 at Trinity Mission.
Mary accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined New Store Baptist Church at an early age.
Mary was preceded in death by one son, James C. Perkins; one sister and five brothers. She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Annie Lou Smith (William), and Dorothy Mae Lipscomb both of Dillwyn, VA; two sons, Samuel L. Anderson of Dillwyn, VA and John Frank Anderson of Chesterfield, VA; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, thirteen great-great grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Otis Anderson (Kathy) and Ulysses Anderson (Mattie), two sisters-in-law, Lillian Smith (Charlie) and Pocahontas Spencer (Genie) all of Dillwyn, VA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services Sunday, September 3, 2017 at New Store Baptist Church, Buckingham. Interment First Liberty Baptist Church, Dillwyn.
