Mary Elizabeth Foster Tucker was born March 4, 1939 in Nottoway County to Perkins and Geneva Foster. God called her home on Friday, May 27, 2016, at 9:27 a.m. at Lynchburg General Hospital.
 She attended Nottoway County public schools and graduated from Luther H. Foster High School in 1959.Â
 On July 7, 1973, she was united in holy matrimony with Dwight E. Tucker.
 Mary was predeceased by her parents, Perkins and Geneva Foster; a sister, Marjorie Ford; and brothers Edward Foster and Winston Foster, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Dwight Tucker; two daughters, Angela Foster of Richmond, VA and Adrienne Todd (Arthur) of Crewe, VA; son, Dwight L. Tucker of Grand Junction, CO; brother, Lee R. Foster (Dorothy) of Baltimore, MD; four grandchildren, DaCarra Williams of Richmond, VA, DeShawn Todd of Petersburg, VA, Destini Todd of Crewe, VA and Zaria Mills of Richmond, VA; four brothers-in-law, Daniel (Carolyn), Nathaniel, Bobby (Edna) and Gary (Patricia) Tucker; one sister-in-law, Zipporiah Tucker; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Eleven Oaks Baptist Church, Crewe with interment to follow in the Fowlkes Family Cemetery, Crewe.
